What happens when completed?

At the conclusion of a review, the Anti-Dumping Commission will provide a report and recommendations to the Minister. Where the measures involved the publication of a dumping duty notice or countervailing duty notice, the Minister must declare that:

  • the notice is to remain unaltered
  • with effect from a date specified in the declaration, the notice be revoked in its application to a particular exporter, exporters generally or in relation to a particular kind of goods, or
  • with effect from a date specified in the declaration, the notice have effect as if different variable factors had been fixed either for a particular exporter or exporters generally.

Similar provisions exist in relation to undertakings.

The outcome of the review will be published on the Anti-Dumping Commission's website.
